Bringing our curriculum on citizenship and life skills education to a much wider network of young people is at the very top of our strategic objectives for a reason: it is extremely important to us! We believe that a generation of active citizens will make for a much better India, where democracy, justice, sustainable living, and equality are a way of life.
We think our mission is crucial to our country and our democracy and, if you connect with our cause, we would love to partner with you.
We work closely with the government to drive positive change. Some of our valued government partners include the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Karnataka, the Directorate of Minorities, Minority Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka, and Samagra Shiksha, Department of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
We also collaborate with like-minded NGOs. Some of our existing NGO partners are Adhyayan Foundation, Aflatoun International, Chitnavis Trust, Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME), Gramaantara Trust, Maker Ghat, and Peepal Foundation.
It has been a pleasure to be associated with CMCA. A great learning in sensitising not only the children but also our volunteers and their families towards Active Citizenship. As a trustee of Chitnavis Trust in-charge of CMCA I wish the wonderful movement the very best.
It's been 5 years, and CMCA has constantly shown us here at H2O the impact of civic education among children. Our education system is such that most of us learn without knowing how to use it to empower ourselves and those around us. CMCA addresses that missing link of the system. We’re truly glad to be a part of this programme, which is creating generations of change makers, one class act at a time. We do hope that as an organisation, we too are able to successfully take forward this initiative and help children build their own understanding of socio-civic issues and become active citizens of a global world.
We typically create a format for helping partner organisations to deliver our curriculum based on the specific needs and situation of each partner. If you are an organisation with an existing network of educational institutions, and are interested in partnering with CMCA to bring citizenship and life skills education to young Indians, write to us at headoffice@cmcaindia.org with your ideas or needs.
You believe in true democracy and support Active Citizenship, and we think everyone should know it. Display the CMCA Member web badge on your organisation's site if you are a member school or a member college. If you are our partner or donor, then display the CMCA Partner web badge on your site. Let's create an online community of Active Citizens to go with our offline one!
If you would like to receive our web badge, please write to headoffice@cmcaindia.org
