As co-founder and CEO of CMCA, Priya plays a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of the organization, from content development and training to communications and program management. Her leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping CMCA’s initiatives and impact in the community.
Outside of her professional duties, Priya is an avid fan of old English classics by authors like Austen, Wodehouse, Christie, and Doyle, as well as modern audiobooks inspired by these classics. She likes taking short driving-distance holidays, listening to music, and driving.

Nagaveni joined CMCA in 2004 as a Program Associate, starting with volunteer work at a government school. She has since taken on key responsibilities in Admin & Finance, where she’s been a dependable team member for almost a decade, handling the essential administrative and financial tasks that help CMCA’s programs run smoothly.
Outside of work, Nagaveni enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and traveling.

Since his transition from the Navy, he’s worked with organizations like Genworks Healthcare, Pearson India, and Edunation Services, focusing on creating smoother operations and managing people effectively.
At CMCA, Naren loves being part of programs that encourage active citizenship and enjoys connecting with people. In his free time, he’s often found singing, exploring new places, watching plays, or meeting new faces.

Before joining CMCA, Anila worked as a Trainer and Quality Manager at Mind Edutainment in Bengaluru, where she led educational sessions for students from 3rd to 12th grade. Outside of work, she loves exploring new places and watching movies.

Before joining CMCA, Preeta spent 18 years in the IT industry, working in various roles like Software Engineer and Project Manager, including positions in the UK and USA. Outside of work, she loves singing and running marathons and is actively involved in community projects.

Savitha leads training for CMCA programs, focusing on designing materials, mentoring, and building team capacity. She initially joined CMCA as the Program Lead for Mysuru. Previously, she worked as a District Manager for Social Mobilization under the Sanjeevini-KSRLM in Mysore and was a School Leadership Development Facilitator with the Azim Premji Foundation’s project with V-Lead. She also has experience as a faculty member and student counselor at nursing colleges and is a certified trainer with NACO and NIRD.
Beyond work, Savitha enjoys terrace gardening, singing, and trying new recipes. Her love for teaching and community work aligns well with her role at CMCA, where she’s passionate about empowering others and sharing her knowledge.

Dr. Manjunath is an essential part of CMCA, where he shapes program strategies and supports the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) efforts. He has been with CMCA since it started in 2000, helping to create its programs in collaboration with the Public Affairs Centre and Swabhimana.
Previously, Dr. Manjunath held several roles, including Head of Citizen Action Support at the Public Affairs Centre and Director of CMCA India. He also worked as Chief Program Officer at the Public Affairs Centre and as an Evaluation Specialist at SELCO Foundation. In addition to his current work as an Evaluation Specialist at Quest Alliance, he supervises theses at the Institute for Housing & Urban Development Studies. In his free time, he enjoys music, trekking, and hiking.

Previously, he investigated custodial deaths and human rights issues with People’s Watch in Madurai and helped coordinate UNICEF’s audit of the “Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act” in Krishnagiri District. David also managed health programs in 86 villages and worked with the Vizhithugal Social Education and Development Trust and Ganga Medical Center & Hospitals.
David is passionate about making a positive impact through his work. In his free time, he enjoys playing various musical instruments, choreography, riding, gospel music, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
