CMCA believes that children are born citizens, and must imbibe the values of our constitution in order for India to reach its potential. This video explores children’s ideas on what it is to be an Indian in the words of the school children themselves. CMCA’s citizenship and life skills programmes running in schools across India help to develop and strengthen democratic and citizenship values.
We are working towards building a nation of concerned, thinking and active citizens. Citizens who are sensitive to the issues facing India. Citizens who participate in the democracy that was established for them. Citizens who work to enhance the quality of life and well-being in their communities and promote equity in all aspects. Citizens who spark change.

It's been a great experience interning at CMCA. I've learnt so much in the time I've been there. Huge thanks to the CMCA team for your support, warmth and inspiration!

CMCA was the perfect balance between professionalism and individualism. The company culture is fun-loving, progressive, and quite young – easy to fit in and easy to interact with. Throughout my five weeks at CMCA, my opinion was valued every step of the way, and I, a 19- year-old, was treated as an equal.
CMCA Alumna
From a young age, I have been drawn towards helping people, but the experience of being in the CMCA Club and being elected as the president was the first leadership role that paved a path for me, for which I’m grateful. Through CMCA we learnt to find ways to help society, and I realized how much I can do for people and how much I can impact them.
CMCA Alumna
CMCA has made a huge impact on me. I learnt about how to help citizens and the environment. Before CMCA I didn’t care too much as I wasn’t aware. But after CMCA I learnt about the part we as the youth need to play in taking care of the environment.

I would just like to thank CMCA for giving me the opportunity to do an internship in illustration with them. The topics were fun, the workflow was well-paced and the overall atmosphere was very warm. Definitely a good place to volunteer at.
We rely on our volunteers to deliver our curriculum to children.
I am proud to be associated with an organisation in which so many wonderful employees and volunteers give their time selflessly and do so with joy. I know that, even if I search for the rest of my life, I will never find a place to volunteer that will touch my heart as much as CMCA has done in these four years!
I am yet to find a group of more dedicated, sincere, passionate volunteers who are amazing dynamic individuals, focused and caring, yet humble, not egoistic and definitely not political. I am willing to commit to CMCA for a lifetime as I am totally in sync with its goals and consider it to be my family!
CMCA has taught me look at everything from a different perspective. Their curriculum teaches values that are missing in our regular school syllabus, but are extremely essential to make one a thinking, responsible and caring citizen. The interactive sessions generate a lot of enthusiasm amongst the children.
I feel that children are our best bet for a better nation! So CMCA, I feel, is treading the right path. I feel proud to be a part of this movement and feel satisfied that I am making a contribution.

It has been a pleasure to be associated with CMCA. A great learning in sensitising not only the children but also our volunteers and their families towards Active Citizenship. As a trustee of Chitnavis Trust in charge of CMCA I wish the wonderful movement the very best.
